Nice News to End the Week

I was just honored to received an invitation to help judge the 2010 Innovation Contest of the Americas (TIC Americas), sponsored by the Young Americas Business Trust. I wrote about this organization in Young World Rising, in the context of non-government organizations that provide support, infrastructure and recognition to young entrepreneurs from emerging economies. Innovation and business-plan contests are an increasingly popular way for new companies and new ideas to get attention from financial partners, business partners and the market at large. TIC Americas is one of the best, recognizing innovations from the countries of Central and South America and the Caribbean. I am looking forward to seeing some mind-blowing ideas from some of the hemisphere's most promising young talent!
